The Amazon Wishlist donations will be directed toward new neighbors in welcome baskets assembled by the New Life Centers team, provided to newly resettled families across the state, with anywhere from 20 to 55 families relocated daily.
New Life Centers is a faith-based non-profit organization that connects young people to Christ and the community through various services. These services include mentoring, with 400 young people engaged in one-on-one matches, after-school education programming supporting 125 individuals, and sports activities bringing together over 2,500 youth. Additionally, the organization has fed 3 million individuals through its food pantry since the COVID-19 pandemic and operates a team of victim advocates responding to violence incidents in five West Side Chicago neighborhoods.
