Both living in downtown Chicago, they noticed immediately when thousands of migrants arrived on buses, including kids their own age and younger.
Both living in downtown Chicago, they noticed immediately when thousands of migrants arrived on buses, including kids their own age and younger.
Peter and Francesca knew they wanted to help and put their minds together quickly to figure out how. Peter has been volunteering in Chicago with organizations like The Honeycomb Project & The Chicago Association of Veterans of WWII since he was 5 years old, along with his siblings Simon & Anabelle. In 2018, Peter and his family were awarded the Daily Point of Light award for their years of service. Among his many volunteer efforts, Peter is also committed to helping young people affected by the war in Ukraine.
Francesca and her brother Sebastian have also been volunteering since a very young age. In their free time, Francesca and Peter love to play sports, spend time with friends, and travel with their families.
